5:37: Derek Stepan clipped Andy Greene with a high stick for a penalty only 28 seconds into the man advantage, negating the five-on-four.

8:58: Devils continued to carry the play with numerous chances and zone time. The best stop might have been at point-blank range off Wayne Simmonds as Raanta kicked out his right pad to make the stop.

16:54: Coyotes netminder Antti Raanta made a nice save on Kevin Rooney’s quick shot after a turnover gave him the puck at the bottom of the left circle.
