0:00: Second period is done. Devils score twice to tie up the game. The Flyers hold a slight shots lead, 22-18, after forty minutes.
0:20: Flyers intercept a puck behind the Devils net and Hayes gets a shot on goal but Wedgewood comes up with the save.
3:17: Devils score – tied game! Travis Zajac with the tip to get the goal off of Johnsson’s shot. NJD 2, PHI 2.
7:01: Mikey McLeod gets his first NHL goal to get the Devils on the board! PHI 2, NJD 1
8:28: Devils kill off the penalty.
10:28: Subban is sent to the box, Devils on the penalty kill again.
10:58: In a quick give and go between Gusev and Hughes, Hughes is able to fire a shot off but Elliott stops it for Philadelphia.
12:49: New Jersey kills off the penalty. Back to even strength.
14:49: Devils head to the penalty kill for the third time tonight. Subban sent for interference.
15:32: Wedgewood comes up big with a save to keep Philadelphia from capitalizing on a rebound.
19:01: Philadelphia scores on its second power play of the night. van Riemsdyk redirects a shot right on the doorstep for the second time this game. PHI 2, NYD 0
19:40: Devils on the penalty kill after Palmieri is sent to the box for goaltender interference.
