8:12: Nick Leddy was called for slashing to send the Devils on their second power play of the game.

12:35: Kuokkanen was called for tripping to give the Islanders their first power play of the game.

14:48: JANNE AGAIN! Janne Kuokkanen picked up a rebound in front of the net and backhanded it past a screened Ilya Sorokin to tie the game at 1-1. The goal was Kuokkanen’s fourth in as many games. | NJD 1, NYI 1

15:04: Andy Greene took a penalty for delay of game, puck over glass. Shots on goal five minutes into the game were 7-1 for the Islanders.

15:42: Scrambling to take the ice after being a surprise roster addition, Sebastian Aho swatted at a rolling puck from the side boards that was tipped on its way to the net by Kieffer Bellows in front. Bellows, who scored his first two goals of the season last night, scored again here. | NYI 1, NJD 0

20:00: Today’s game has started. There was a slight delay at the beginning of the game as there was an issue with the Islanders lineup. As a result, Noah Dobson won’t play on defense and Sebastian Aho will.

Strange start at Prudential Center. Some discussion prior to the game w/ off-ice officials and on-ice officials. Isles def Noah Dobson is out this afternoon and Sebastian Aho is in.
